Oreen Yousuf

Oreen Yousuf is a PhD student in natural language processing at Uppsala University, Sweden. His focus is on NLP for low-resource languages, particularly for Ajami manuscripts/languages. Outside of his PhD he works on various language technology projects with a focus on African languages, such as machine translation. He is also an associate researcher for Unicode, specializing in African scripts.
